Description
Wrinkled Cress
Lepidium sativum
A versatile bouquet filler, ready much earlier than other spring started fillers such as our favourite ‘Panicum Frosted Explosion’
Graceful, green silvery panicles, are covered with shimmering seeds adding texture to your arrangements.
Very fast growing annual excellent for early bunches and use as a ‘catch crop’ to utilise empty bed space. It can be ready for harvesting in as little as 2 months depending on the weather.
How to grow:
Sow seeds onto the surface of the compost in modules. Easy to germinate, an unheated greenhouse should be sufficient.
The root ball is much smaller than other annuals so rather than potting on, plant straight out into final flowering positions as smaller plugs, after the last frosts.
