Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’
Perfect for pots!
I still remember the first time I saw Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’. It was in the main Floral Marquee at ‘RHS Hampton Court’. I was captivated by the unusual Anemone shaped flowers.
The amount of flowers I get from Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is more than any other dahlia I grow and the open flower shape Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ attracts the Bee’s and Butterflies all summer long. Its a perfect choice for the Wildlife Garden.
Once you have one I know you are going to treasure it!
A top class plant for the smaller garden, Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is just 60 cm so looks perfect at the front of the border and especially ideal planted in a pot on a patio.
I always have a row of these dahlias in front of the summer house in Neil’s Interchangeable Containers
You can find all the information you need for growing Dahlia’s here on our Video Hub!

Cutting /Vase Life:
For the best vase life pick Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ as soon as flowers open (before the pollen has set) once the flowers have been pollinated the petals tend to drop. Deadhead flowers to give plants back the energy to ripen the next flower rather than work on producing seed.
Place flowers straight into ready buckets of water, we rest our blooms for a few hours in water, this is called conditioning.
