Description
Dahlia ‘Peaches N’ Cream’
The fabled Dahlia ‘Peaches N’ Cream’ only available until now in the US, I have tracked it down! Yay!
The buds are so huge that they look like Dahlia ‘Cafe Au Lait’ to start with, but then warm peachy salmon flowers appear fading to white at the tips. The petals elegantly swept back.
I use this Dahlia all then time adding brightness to peachy designs and colour to white flower arrangements.
Glorious in the garden, I plant mine next to Dahlia ‘Strawberries and Cream’, they look divine together!
Relatively smaller tubers make a stonking great beast of a plant!
Very vigorous! Passionately recommended!

Cutting /Vase Life:
Dahlias do not continue to open once cut so pick when blooms are ¾ of the way open. Check the back of the flower head to check all the petals are perfect. The petals turn papery, drop and lose colour once they start to go over. Deadhead flowers to give plants back the energy to ripen the next flower rather than work on producing seed.
Place flowers straight into ready buckets of water, we rest our blooms for a few hours in water, this is called conditioning.
