Ranunculus Romance™ are different!!
Ranunculus Romance™ is not only elegant, but also exceptionally strong.
Strong solid stems like the Butterfly Ranunculus, together with the same long flowering and vase life, high production you won’t find these anywhere else!!
The flowers of the Ranunculus Romance™ Courchevel® are absolutely beautiful! Huge 15cm pure pillow soft snowy white Flowers, it lives up to it’s name.
Like the Butterfly types you will find these plants robust and easier to grow.

How to Grow:
Corms will arrive in a dehydrated state and need to be soaked in a bowl of water for 2/3 hours before planting in pots or cell trays of at least 6.5cm square.
Like all Ranunculus and Anemones, do not overwater or leave outside in a cold greenhouse for pre spouting – corms will rot in inhospitable conditions.
Rodents love to steal your precious corms so you need to protect them until the corms develop into plants. I like to pre-sprout indoors and transfer carefully once the first signs of life appear – much more detailed information can be found in the new season Anemones, Ranunculus & Ranunculus Butterfly Handbook, free with orders of just 2 packets or more!

Flowering:
Autumn started corms blooms from the end of March right through April usually finishing around the beginning of May. However a cold Spring will delay the start of flowering.
Late Winter / early Spring started corms generally flower for us from around the middle of May and continue blooming well into June. A warm Spring will bring flowering forward and a cold Spring will delay flowering.
Local weather conditions will affect the exact blooming times and Ranunculus will need frost protection to protect both the leaves and blooms from damage.

Flowers up to 15cm when grown well
Strong stems of up to 80 cm make this ranunculus a real eye-catcher in any garden or vase.
Position plants in sun.
Cutting /Vase Life:
With a vase life of up to 2 weeks, Ranunculus Romance make a supreme cut flower.
For the longest vase life cut when buds are coloured and soft (called the marshmallow stage) allowing them to open in the vase. For Wedding work or to bring into the house, more open flowers will still last up to a week.
Place flowers straight into buckets of clean clear water. We rest our stems in a cool dark location for at least a few hours in water, preferably overnight, This is called conditioning.
Plants are protected and propagation prohibited. This is to ensure these special ranunculus varieties are only released following careful development and carry the registered trademarks. These corms have been bred for the professional cut flower industry. F1 hybrid hand pollinated, you may occasionally receive the odd ‘rogue’ and a colour outside your selection.
